The Verkhovna Rada's Standing Committee refused to coordinate the prosecutor's office's proposal to hold MP Yevhen Deidei to justice. Such a decision was announced by the acting chairman of the committee Pavlo Pynzenyk after most of the members voted against it, Ukrainska Pravda reports.

He noted that the committee recognized the proposal of the Prosecutor General's Office as unfounded.

"The committee believes that the prosecutor's office's proposal is not sufficiently substantiated and unmotivated. The evidence is based on assumptions", - Pynzenyk read the conclusion.

Now this conclusion will be sent to the Verkhovna Rada.

After the meeting, Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko appealed to Pynzenyk with a rhetorical question: "Are not you ashamed?"

As previously reported, on June 21, Lutsenko submitted to the Verkhovna Rada proposal to hold MP Yevhen Deidei to justice, in whose actions signs of illegal enrichment for USD 235 thousand are seen.
