The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that he would bring in a draft law to the Verkhovna Rada on the announcement of the next wave of mobilization after appropriate plea of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He said this to journalists in Ternopol, - informs Interfax-Ukraine.

"The liberation of the Ukrainian territory is not only the efforts of diplomats, it is not only political and diplomatic efforts of the Ukrainian government, but also the strong AFU in coordination with which we will provide a solid and steady implementation of the Minsk agreements. And if the heads of the AFU need come up with an initiative to do it (the announcement of the next wave of mobilization – ed.), then I will support the corresponding draft law to be brought in to the Verkhovna Rada", - said Poroshenko.

According to him, Ukraine has to keep defense on the line of the collision.

"So far, despite the significant reduction in the number of attacks compared to those that we saw in late November and early December, we have to keep a well-armed and large contingent of Ukrainian troops on the line of collision," - said Poroshenko.

On November 20th, 2015 the head of the Main Staff Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Igor Voronchenko said that the next seventh wave of mobilization might be announced in the first quarter of next year.
