Obolonsky District Court of Kyiv will begin to consider the case of the former President Viktor Yanukovych, accused of high treason, in essence on June 26. This was stated by the presiding judge Vladyslav Deviatko, - Ukrayinski Novyny reports.

He said that the case hearing will essentially begin at 10:00 on June 26. The indictment will be announced and the order of examination of evidence will be determined during the court session.

The following sessions will be held on June 29, July 6, 12 and 13, as well as on August 3, 10, 17, 23 and 31.

It is noted that the court has set the indictment on the Yanukovych's case for hearing in essence today, but did not allow the trial in absentia.
