Today, the Official Journal of the European Union published a legislative act, which introduced a visa-free regime for citizens of Ukraine from June 11, - UNIAN reports.

According to the document, Ukraine will be removed from the list of countries whose citizens are required to have a visa for crossing the border, and will be listed among those countries whose citizens do not need a visa. The decision to introduce a visa-free regime between the EU and Ukraine will come into force 20 days after its promulgation.

As reported, on May 17, the President of the European Parliament signed a legislative act allowing Ukrainian citizens traveling to the EU without visas.
