The Kremlin claimed that 700 tanks which the militants of the Donbass have in arsenal are supplied not by Russia. This was stated by the Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, commenting a report of "Rossiya-1" TV channel at the request of UNIAN about the presence of tanks of the militants in the occupied part of the Donbass, the number of which exceeds the tank park of the Armed Forces of Ukraine thrice.
"Probably, you can ask this question to Moscow and Kiev with the same effect to answer where there are tanks from. I have no information here", - Peskov said.
"I can tell you that they are not from Russia, of course", - he stressed.
Peskov answered the question of where the tanks can appear from, if the occupied part of the Donbass borders only with the Russian Federation and free Ukraine: "This is Ukraine, after all. These are the areas not controlled by Kiev, but this is Ukraine, despite the fact that Kiev rejects these regions".
According to him, it is necessary to ask the authorities of Ukraine about this situation.
