It is possible to get control over the Ukrainian-Russian border only after the elections on the occupied territory of Donbass. It was stated by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin during a speech in the Verkhovna Rada, - reports the correspondent of OstroV.

"The logic of the Minsk agreements is that without monitoring the border by the OSCE that should include the possibility of the OSCE to be located along the uncontrolled border area with special bases with corresponding representatives of the OSCE at the checkpoints on our side of the border and appropriate surveillance, there will be no security, because otherwise there is no point discussing the issue of withdrawal of troops or weapons," - he said.

According to him, nobody changed the Minsk agreements and nobody will allow to change them not in favour of Ukraine.

"So, at first, full monitoring by the OSCE, plan development of border transfer and on the second day after the elections - border transfer to Ukrainian border guards. Such logic was originally founded in the Minsk agreements and no one ever changed it," - said Klimkin.
