In the Dobropillia direction, russian troops are increasing the intensity of infantry assaults and attempting to advance towards the city. In this way, the occupiers are seeking to fulfill their promise to the russian military command to fully capture the Donetsk oblast by the end of 2026. This was reported on November 3 during a broadcast on Suspilne Studio by Vasyl Pereverziev, an officer of the 12th Special Forces Brigade Azov, with the call sign "Prozorov".

According to him, russian troops have not yet made any significant advances. They are using assaults to attack and attempting to infiltrate deep into Ukrainian positions in small groups.

"As we see it from our side, they are unlikely to succeed. There has been virtually no significant advance. These are all attempts involving some kind of banzai attacks, infiltration attempts, and the like", - Pereverziev noted.

He explained that the russian military also uses infantry to identify Ukrainian positions and monitor the movements of the Defense Forces.

"The enemy needs to infiltrate deep into our territory. They serve as a kind of buffer, a transmitter of information: they monitor our movements", - the officer said.

According to him, the russian command sends infantry forward, effectively using servicemen as "eyes and ears".

In addition, the russian army is increasing the number of airstrikes on Ukrainian military positions and settlements in the area of Dobropillia.

"This is not something that happens every day, and we're not talking about hundreds of airstrikes, but these are significant strikes carried out from time to time. Their number sometimes forces us to change positions and reorganize them", - Pereverziev added.
