The Third Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine cleared Novoselivka, Oleksandrivka, Yarova, and the outskirts of Korovii Yar of infiltration and liberated Serednie, the corps’ Telegram channel reported on September 15, citing Brigadier General and Corps Commander Andrii Biletskyi.
“We confirm information about the Ukrainian army’s offensive in the north of the Donetsk oblast. Under a communications blackout, the units eliminated enemy infiltration pockets and cleared 75 km². Another 10 km² has been de-occupied. A crushing blow was dealt to the combat capability of the 20th and 25th russian armies. Enemy losses at this stage: about 1,500 soldiers, more than 12,000 drones, and hundreds of pieces of armored vehicles, artillery systems, and motor vehicles”, - the statement says.
It is noted that at the same time, units of unmanned systems cut the enemy’s logistics routes. As a result of strikes by the corps, russian forces moved their fuel and lubricants supplies outside Ukraine, to Voronezh region: a pipeline was shut down and warehouses were destroyed.
