President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he hopes to discuss an energy truce with russia with his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump during a meeting in New York, NV reports.
“Ukraine is open to a corresponding maritime truce, plus an energy truce. I am going to discuss all of this. I have already spoken about this with the U.S. president. If this coincides with his plans as well, if I manage to fly to New York, then this is exactly what is being discussed now. We are talking about the 20s of September. God willing, we will manage to meet”, - Zelensky said on the air of the United News telethon.
The Ukrainian president noted that dictator vladimir putin does not want a full truce, so at least a grain and energy truce is necessary.
“Especially since so many countries support the corresponding track”, - Zelensky said.
