“In the Odesa oblast, eight people, including a 5-year-old child, were injured as a result of a combined enemy attack. The russians targeted civilian and energy infrastructure”, - Oleh Kiper, head of the Oblast Military Administration, said on September 2.
At one of the addresses, apartments on floors 17 through 23 of a 24-story residential building and residents’ cars were damaged. Preliminary reports indicate that five people were injured, including a 5-year-old child.
At other addresses, explosions damaged the facades and windows of two lyceums, a five-story business center, and warehouse facilities. Three people were injured.
Ukraine’s State Emergency Service stated that “russia shelled Odesa and the region all night”.
“Civilian and energy infrastructure came under attack. As a result of the strikes in Odesa, apartments on floors 17 through 23 of a 24-story residential building were damaged, and the blast wave damaged nearby passenger cars. Elsewhere, the facade, windows, and passenger cars were damaged, causing a fire in the business center’s office premises”, - the emergency service said in a statement.
A private enterprise, cottage, and vehicles were also damaged, while a gas station was completely destroyed. Fires broke out at the sites, and firefighters promptly extinguished them.
