“Today, August 31, at 04:20 a.m., the enemy carried out another FAB-500 airstrike on Sloviansk. The strike hit a high-rise building in the central part of the city”, - Sloviansk City Military Administration Head Vadym Liakh said on social media.
According to him, as a result of the enemy strike, the entrance of an apartment building from the first to the fifth floors was destroyed, as well as a private house.
“At least 32 high-rise buildings, a hotel, a kindergarten, and vehicles were damaged. At present, four people are known to have been injured. Everyone is receiving the necessary medical assistance”, - Liakh reported.
At 8:13 a.m., the Donetsk Oblast Prosecutor’s Office reported: “As a result of the shelling, four civilians aged 61 to 66 who were in their homes were injured. They sustained blast injuries, bruises, and lacerations. All those injured are receiving medical assistance. As a result of the enemy strike, 34 apartment and private houses and 6 vehicles were damaged”.
