"I do not have the slightest moral right to do anything else while people are taking to the streets in protest and my name is being chanted. People believe this is possible, and as long as there is no definitive 'no', I believe we always have a chance", - former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said during a livestream with his former adviser, Serhii Sternenko.

At the same time, Fedorov stressed that regardless of future developments, the country must continue implementing its plan for conducting the war and bringing it to an end.

Commenting on the protests that have continued across the country since his resignation, the former defense minister thanked everyone participating in the demonstrations and, in his view, supporting Ukraine's development. According to Fedorov, he did not expect his name to be chanted during the protests.

"For me, this is also a signal that the russians have failed to capture our democracy or take it hostage. People are active, they want development and reforms, and they are following what is happening in the country despite the constant shelling and other challenges. We have a highly conscious civil society, active people who want progress and are trying to understand what tomorrow will bring", - he said.
