According to informed sources, during last week's meeting with Zelensky in the Oval Office, Trump rejected his request for hundreds of additional Patriot interceptor missiles ahead of the winter.
The sources said Trump explained the decision by citing a shortage of interceptor missiles in U.S. stockpiles, adding that they are currently needed to protect American facilities in the Middle East and U.S. allies in the region amid the war with Iran.
