The capital of the russian federation, moscow and the moscow oblast came under a massive drone attack during the night and morning of June 18. Local social media and russian media outlets report this.
According to reports, moscow mayor Sergey Sobyanin stated that 137 drones allegedly heading toward the russian capital were destroyed.
A fire also broke out at the Moscow Oil Refinery in Kapotnya. Authorities reported that several drones "managed to reach the refinery".
Drone debris fell on the grounds of the Sadovod shopping mall, where "minor damage to one of the buildings was recorded". The outlet Ostorozhno Novosti reported smoke in the area of the mall.
It is also reported that drone debris fell in Lyubertsy, damaging a fitness center and a facility in an industrial zone.
Debris also fell onto the roof of the Belaya Dacha shopping mall, where a fire subsequently broke out.
