“To date, more than 20,000 Ukrainian children have been forcibly transferred or deported to russia and temporarily occupied territories”, - the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office of the government of the United Kingdom said in a statement.

It is noted that among the forcibly deported, according to the ministry’s estimates, about 6,000 children were sent to “re-education” camps, where they are subjected to propaganda aimed at destroying Ukrainian identity and instilling pro-russian, highly militarized views.
