“Attention! A large number of enemy UAVs are moving toward the region and the city. Immediately take shelter and remain there until the all-clear”, - said Ternopil mayor Serhii Nadal on May 1.

Later, Nadal reported that part of Ternopil was left without electricity.

“Parts of the Kanada, Center, Novyi Svit, and Staryi Park neighborhoods, as well as part of the Soniachnyi district. I will provide additional information later”, - the mayor noted.

As reported by RBC-Ukraine, the first explosions were heard in Ternopil at around 13:10. This occurred amid a massive attack by “Shahed” drones on Ukraine. Monitoring channels reported several dozen drones that reached the city.
