“The United Kingdom has announced its ‘largest package’ of assistance for Ukraine. This statement was made during the 34th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the ‘Ramstein’ format”, - reports the Telegram channel of Radio Liberty on April 15.
It is stated that this year the British will transfer at least 120,000 drones to Ukraine. In particular, these will include long-range drones, reconnaissance drones, logistics drones, as well as naval unmanned systems.
“This large set of battle-tested unmanned systems will provide the Ukrainian armed forces with the capabilities needed to defend their people and repel russian aggression”, - the Telegram channel “BILD na russkom” quotes UK Defense Secretary John Healey.
In addition, it is expected that UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves will unblock £752 million for Ukraine as part of a major loan assistance package.
