President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree on demobilization of the military mobilized during the sixth wave. The Head of State informed about that on his Facebook page.
"Defenders of the Motherland who were mobilized last year during so-called "sixth wave” will return to their homes and families until the end of October. I have signed a corresponding decree. Its implementation would mean a further step in the transition army to a professional level," - said the President.
Once the last soldier of the "sixth wave" is dismissed, only contactors will stay on the frontline, - he added.
