In the south, the Defense Forces of Ukraine have regained control of nearly 470 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory and neutralized more than 11,000 russian occupiers. This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, on Facebook.
He noted that during a working trip to the Southern operational zone, he held a meeting with the command of the offensive grouping, commanders of assault and air assault units, and heard reports on the execution of combat tasks by personnel. The participants also discussed further actions and coordinated the interaction of units within their areas of responsibility, Syrskyi wrote.
According to him, the Defense Forces continue to liberate Ukrainian land from occupiers thanks to courage and unconventional actions.
“Since the beginning of the operation, we have regained control over about 470 square kilometers, neutralizing more than 11,000 invaders”, - the Commander-in-Chief emphasized.
