“Around half past two in the night, the enemy began a massive attack on Zaporizhzhia: first – 6 strike UAVs, then – 5 ballistic missiles. Residential neighborhoods and infrastructure facilities were hit. Unfortunately, 1 person was killed. Sincere condolences to the family. Nine people were injured. All victims are receiving the necessary medical assistance”, - said the head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, on March 24.
Twenty multi-story buildings, 6 private houses, a shop, non-residential buildings, and enterprises were damaged.
“At one location, a multi-story building caught fire; at another, a residential building was partially damaged followed by a fire. Cargo and passenger vehicles were also burning. Nearby buildings were damaged by the blast wave. The final number of victims is being clarified”, - the State Emergency Service also reported.
