“It is important… that signals are coming from the American side about readiness to continue working within the existing negotiation formats to end russia’s war against Ukraine. There has been a pause in negotiations, it is time to end it. And we are doing everything to ensure that the negotiations are truly substantive”, - President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on his Telegram channel om March 19.
According to him, the Ukrainian team — namely the political part of the negotiating group — is already on the way, and its meeting in the United States of America is expected this Saturday.
From Ukraine, the negotiating group will include Rustem Umerov, Kyrylo Budanov, Davyd Arakhamia, and Serhii Kyslytsia.
“Our priority is to do everything possible to achieve a dignified peace. And I thank everyone who is helping with this”, - the head of state concluded.
