“If you take a close look at the statements of European Union leaders, no one talks about security guarantees for Russia. And this is a key element of a peace agreement. Without this, an agreement is impossible”, — russia’s deputy foreign minister Aleksandr Grushko said in a comment to the propaganda outlet Izvestia.
“We acknowledge that a peaceful settlement in Ukraine must take Ukraine’s security interests into account, but the key factor, of course, is russia’s security interests”.
The deputy foreign minister of the russian federation also did not forget to remind of moscow’s demands:
“Ending the use of Ukrainian territory to create ‘threats’ to russia”,
“Refusal to deploy NATO member states’ troops on Ukrainian territory as part of the settlement”,
“A ban on Ukraine joining NATO”.
