In total, as part of the autumn draft in russia, 135,000 people will be conscripted for military service.

The document also provides for the discharge from military service of soldiers, sailors, sergeants, and petty officers whose conscription service term has ended.
In accordance with the new legal norms, the draft extended to citizens aged 18 to 30 who are subject to conscription and not in reserve.
It should be recalled that on September 24, deputies of the russian state duma approved in the first reading a draft law that provides for conscription-related activities throughout the entire calendar year. According to the draft law, starting January 1, 2026, the conscription of citizens for military service will be carried out not twice a year, as it is now, but continuously — from January 1 to December 31, while the dispatch of conscripts to their places of service, as before, will be conducted in two periods: from April 1 to July 15 and from October 1 to December 31, based on decrees of the head of the russian federation.
