“Yes, use the capabilities to strike deep. There are no restrictions”, - said the US president’s special envoy Kit Kellogg, answering a question from a Fox News correspondent about Ukraine’s ability to strike at long range, the Telegram channel “DW Glavnoe” reports.
Kellogg clarified that he gives this answer taking into account statements by Trump, Vice-President J.D. Vance and Senator Marco Rubio.
Kellogg recalled that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the meeting with Trump asked for the transfer of Tomahawk missiles to Kyiv. However, according to the special envoy, no final decision on this issue has yet been made.
The Tomahawk missile’s range reaches up to 5,500 kilometers depending on the modification. For comparison: the ATACMS missiles that the US provided to Ukraine in 2024 can strike targets at distances up to 300 km.
