The RF uses all the levers of influence on Ukraine. It was stated by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Vadym Skibitskiy in the air of Channel 5.

According to him, Russia will definitely support the unstable situation, especially in the field of security on the occupied territories.

"Today Russia uses a hybrid scenario in all areas - political, informational, military, economic, i.e. the Russian Federation uses all the levers of influence and pressure on Ukraine, first of all, for us to agree to fulfil the Minsk Agreements on the settlement of the situation in relation to occupied territories on the terms offered by the Russian Federation," - explained Skibitskiy.

He added: "We also do not rule out the force scenario, the expansion of the Russian military aggression against our country, as the main purpose of Russia is not reached today. It has not established control over the territory of our state."

According to him, "the immediate task of the Russian Federation can be access of the so-called people's republics to the administrative boundaries of Luhansk and Donetsk regions in order to improve their status and to say that here are "people's republics" which are located within the administrative borders of these regions, they say, let us separate status or other issues that are now actively pushed by Russia in the framework of a political solution to this conflict."

Answering the question if, in his opinion, Putin wants to spoil the celebration of the Independence Day for Ukrainians, Skibitskiy said: "If you take and really look at the situation, the Russian Federation has already started activities to spoil the opportunity to celebrate the Independence Day and it began much earlier than analysts and other officials expected. In terms of movement of troops in general, building groups among the occupying forces on the territory of Crimea and on the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, the situation remains tense there as it was in the beginning of the year, and secondly, the Russian Federation is not going to perform the Minsk Asgreement on the withdrawal of equipment and cessation of provocative attacks at our positions. The situation 10 days before the Independence day is very difficult."
