One person was killed and two others injured as a result of the latest enemy strikes on the Kupiansk district. This was reported by the Kharkiv Oblast Prosecutor's Office on April 12th.

"According to the investigation, on April 12th at approximately 11:15 a.m., occupiers shelled the village of Monachynivka using 152mm artillery. A 72-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman were injured. The victims refused hospitalization, and medical assistance was provided to them on site. Residential buildings were damaged. Also today, the settlement of Kupiansk-Uzlovyi was under enemy fire. A 64-year-old man died. Preliminarily, russian military personnel shelled the settlement with artillery", - noted the prosecutor's office.

Prosecutors and police investigators are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document the war crimes committed by representatives of the russian Armed Forces.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kupiansk district prosecutor's office of the Kharkiv oblast, pre-trial investigations have been initiated into violations of laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
