Russian authorities are sending troops from the Pacific Fleet to war against Ukraine. This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate (MID) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Telegram on April 12th.
"In order to replenish the sanitary and irreversible losses of the russian occupational forces, which they suffer during the fighting in Ukraine, as well as to staff new military units, moscow is sending personnel from the Pacific Fleet of the russian federation, as well as the 11th Army of the Air Force and Air Defense", - the message said.
It is noted that these military units of the aggressor state were not previously directly involved in conducting hostilities against Ukraine.
"According to the decision of the commander of the russian Pacific Fleet, rotations to Syria are completely halted, and all personnel are being sent to the combat zone on the territory of Ukraine. This concerns about 2000 russian servicemen from the Primorsky and Kamchatka oblasts of the russian federation", - the MID also writes.
About 400 soldiers from the 11th Army of the Air Force and Air Defense, stationed in the Khabarovsk Krai of the russian federation, will "patch the holes" of the 155th and 40th Marine Corps brigades of russia, which are conducting military operations against Ukraine and are understaffed due to huge losses.
It is specified that some of the personnel from the military units of the russian Far East will join a new motorized rifle brigade of the aggressor state, being formed in Voronezh.
