The enemy shelling completely destroyed the office of the international organization, which provided emergency medical humanitarian assistance to the region's residents. This was reported by the organization's press service on Facebook.
"Today, April 5, around 3 p.m., the office of Doctors Without Borders in Pokrovsk, the Donetsk oblast, was bombed and completely destroyed", - the statement said.
Five local residents who were near the office were injured.
"The attack on our office is not an isolated incident", - said Vincenzo Porpiglia, emergency coordinator for Doctors Without Borders in Ukraine. "The destruction of civilian infrastructure has been a characteristic feature of this war for a long time".
As noted by the organization, none of their colleagues were injured.
