The "governor" of the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia oblast, Yevhen Balytskyi, revealed how he effectively seized 500 enterprises from Ukrainian owners. In an interview with russian propaganda publications, he explained that after the introduction of the russian occupation forces into the Zaporizhzhia oblast, around 500 enterprises were placed under the control of the "new leadership". The basis for expropriating others' property was the departure of the rightful owners from the occupied territory.

The enterprises were handed over "on lease" to representatives of the occupation administration. "From the first days, we started this work when we were still a military-civil administration. All owners who fled from the territory of the Russian Federation lost the right to use their facilities. About 500 more or less significant objects were handed over to new managers", - acknowledged the collaborator.

As reported earlier, Yevhen Balytskyi admitted that under his leadership, many citizens who did not support the russian aggression were evicted from the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia oblast.
