The Ukrainian defense forces have successfully expelled russian troops from the village of Tonenke, west of Avdiivka. This information, backed by on-site video recordings, was reported by BILD's open-source analyst Julian Röpke on March 7th.
"The Ukrainian army has regained full control of Tonenke to the west of Avdiivka. The russians are shelling the village with multiple rocket launchers", - notes Röpke.
Earlier, on March 4th, he had reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were struggling to maintain defense along the line of Berdychi-Semenivka-Orlovka-Tonenke to the west of Avdiivka.
It was also previously reported that the enemy's advance in the Avdiivka direction had been halted.
