Authorities in russia's Zabaykalsky Krai threaten legal consequences for "any dissemination" of information about the death of 65 occupiers near Volnovakha. This was stated in a message from the regional government on Telegram.
"Ukrainian Telegram channels are spreading information about a missile strike on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) with casualties among the Russian army servicemen from Zabaykalsky Krai. The governor of the region is in touch with the Ministry of Defense to establish the accuracy... of the information. Until official confirmation is obtained, any dissemination of unverified messages may lead to liability for spreading false information. Trust only official sources", - the message says.
As reported, it was not Ukrainian media but russian "war correspondents" that spread information that on February 20, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a missile strike on a military training ground in the occupied Trudove in the Donetsk oblast. Military training for servicemen of the 39th separate guard motorized rifle brigade from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk was being conducted at this facility. The strike hit the location of the personnel formation, resulting in 65 occupiers killed.
